Bacon Wrapped Meatballs
- 1 Lb Ground Chuck (I use 90% hamberger)
- 1/3 C Quick Oatmeal
- 2T Catsup plus enough milk to make 1/3 cup.
- 1/2 t Salt, and pepper
- 1/2 t Accent
- 1T Dried Minced Onion
- 1 heaping T pepper relish I use two TBSP (made with peppers and onions Check for that recipe also)
- Bacon 1 slice per meatball (usually one package)
- For the Calorie Counter
- IF you use Beef hamberger you can use turkey bacon and also if you use turkey hamberger use regular bacon. If you use Turkey and Turkey they come out VERY Dry and with not much flavor.
- Mix lightly all ingredients except bacon.
- Roll the mixture into 8 balls.
- Wrap a slice of bacon around and secure with a toothpick.
- Broil 500 Degrees for 6 minutes then turn over and cook for 6 min more for a total of 12 min. Check if done by lightly pressing on top of meatball if pick juice comes out cook for a few minutes more then check again usually no more than 16 minutes broiling total
