Mom'S Chuck Roast

  1. In a blender, puree the tomatoes and pimentos.
  2. rub the garlic powder and 1 pkt Sazon into the meat.
  3. Add some olive oil to a dutch oven and brown the meat on all sides.
  4. Remove the meat (keep the oil and juice) and saute the onions and bell peppers.
  5. Add the vino seco.
  6. Add the tomato/pimento mixture.
  7. Add the 2 pkts Sazon, cumin and bay leaf.
  8. Return the meat to the dutch oven and cover with the sauce.
  9. Cook on medium low heat for at least three hours or until the meat is fork tender.
  10. If the sauce thickens too much, add more vino seco,
  11. NOT WATER.
