Candy Cake
- 2 c. flour
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 4 Tbsp. baking cocoa
- 1 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 Tbsp. cocoa
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 5 Tbsp. milk
- In a saucepan, melt 2 sticks margarine, 4 tablespoons cocoa and 1 cup water.
- Remove from heat.
- In a bowl with a mixer, mix eggs and sugar.
- Mix 1/2 cup milk and vinegar together and add to eggs and sugar.
- Add flour, baking soda and 1 teaspoon vanilla, gradually adding melted cocoa and water mixture.
- Batter will be thin.
- Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- During the last 10 minutes cake is baking, make topping.
