Jeckyll/Hyde Fruit Salad
- One large watermellon
- Fruit of the season
- Sugar
- Fresh orange juice
- HALF A BUNCH OF EITHER
- Fresh mint leaves (optional)OR
- Fresh basilicum leaves (optional) (or quarter of each)
- HYDE
- Spirits (optional)
- JECKYLL - De-seed and dig out watermelon, preserving both sliced off top and "body" of the fruit in perfect condition (must remain watertight)
- Dice flesh and mix with
- Traditional season fruit salad (for a cheat's way - canned salad can be used as well, in this case incorporate the syrup to the mixture)
- Return salad to emptied out watermelon and use it as a container
- Add fresh orange juice and add sugar to taste if required as well as half a bunch of chopped herbs (mixed or one sort only)
- Return lid (you may add a corn-on-the-cob holder or toothpicks stuck in a cork and in the lid to make manipulating easy)
- HYDE (all of the above then)add half to a full(depending on size of watermellon and desired effect) bottle of Vodka, Rhum, or any other preferred spirit to taste. Add brown sugar if necessary.
