Holiday Rum Punch
- 52 oz (1 big can and 1 small can)unsweetened orange juice
- 52 oz unsweetened grapefruit juice
- 52 oz unsweetened pineapple juice
- water (approx. 2 pints)
- cinnamon sticks (approx. 4-6)
- whole cloves (approx. 1 tsp.)
- liquid angostura bitters (approx. 4 shakes of the bottle)
- 1 orange rind
- Myers Dark Rum (amount to taste)
- 2 lbs of granulated sugar
- 1. Cover the following ingredients with water and bring mixture to a boil: whole cloves, cinnamon sticks and orange rind. Boil until the water has boiled down to about half of what you started with, strain and set liquid spice mixture aside.
- 2. In your chosen punch bowl or container mix together the following:
- all juices, sugar, rum, angostura bitters and liquid spice mixture.
- 3. Garnish with approx. 4 cinnamon sticks.
- 4. Chill a couple of hours, then serve!
