Big Score Melt In Your Mouth Sandwich
- 4 Ciabatta Rolls, split, or 4 6-inch lengths of Crusty Italian Bread
- 8tablespoons Garlic 'n Pepper Mayonnaise***
- 8 long thin slices Havarti Cheese (or 16 shorter slices)
- 1-1/2 Tablespoons minced Jalapeno Peppers, or to taste
- 8 thin slices (about 4 Ounces) Serrano or Prosciutto Ham
- 8 thin slices Roast Pork
- 8 thin slices Kosher Dill Pickle
- ***Garlic 'n Pepper Mayonnaise
- 1/2 Cup drained roasted red Peppers
- 2 small garlic cloves
- 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
- Spread 1 Tablespoon Garlic n Pepper Mayonnaise over each cut side of the rolls. Place a slice of cheese on top of the mayonnaise. Sprinkle with jalapenos. Arrange 2 slices of ham over the jalapenos, and the pork on top of that. Put another long cheese slice on top of the pork (or two short slices) and top with 2 slices of pickle.
- Place roll on top, split side down and repeat for the remaining 3 sandwiches. Put the sandwiches, two at a time, in the press or in the grill, and cook 4-7 minutes (depending on how hot your machine is), until cheese melts and sandwiches are scored on top and bottom. Wrap in foil, then paper. Repeat with remaining two sandwiches. Transport in a casserole warmer bag.
- ***Combine peppers, garlic, lemon juice and cayenne in a blender top and process until smooth. Scrape mixture into a small bowl and whisk in the mayonnaise until well mixed. Keep tightly covered in the refrigerator up to 3 days; stir well before using.
