Crunchy Top Macaroni And Cheese
- 2 cups of uncooked elbow macaroni
- 10 oz. grated cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 1/2 qt or 2 qt casserole dish
- Salt and pepper
- Fun size bag of Ruffles or Fritos crushed
- 1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Pour 2 cups of macaroni into boiling salted water. Cook according to package. Pour into colander and rinse with cold water.
- 2.Spread butter in bottom of dish. Put 1/2 of the cooked macaroni in dish. Sprinkle evenly with salt and pepper and 1/2 of the cheese. Pour in the other 1/2 of the cooked macaroni and add the rest of the cheese evenly over the top to prevent macaroni from drying out. Pour 1 cup of milk over macaroni. Sprinkle crushed ruffles or fritos on top. This makes 6 large servings or 8 medium sized servings.
- 3.Bake 35-45 minutes. Enjoy!
