Nick'S Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

  1. 1. Melt butter in heavy-bottomed medium saucepan over low heat until just barely melted.
  2. 2. Sift together flour, salt, and baking soda then set aside.
  3. 3. Cream butter and sugars on medium speed then egg, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. 4. Slowly add flour mix until fully combined. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
  5. 5. Chill dough for about two hours.
  6. 6. Scoop on parchment lined baking sheets. Cook at 375 for 11 minutes.
  7. For a fancy schmancy alternative, use expensive dark chocolate, add about 1/2 tsp black pepper, and top with crushed sea salt.
