Chocolate Chip Cheesecake
- 1 1/4 c. Oreo cookie crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 6 oz. chocolate mini-morsels
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Combine crumbs, 2 tablespoons sugar and melted butter.
- Pat into a 9-inch spring-form pan on the bottom and slightly up the sides.
- Cream the cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Gradually beat in 3/4 cup sugar.
- Mix in sour cream and vanilla.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Pour 1/2 of batter into crumb lined pan.
- Sprinkle with 1/2 the chocolate mini-morsels.
- Pour remaining batter on top. Sprinkle with the remaining morsels.
- Bake at 325u0b0 for 50 to 55 minutes until top is light brown and begins to crack.
- Cool to room temperature and refrigerate.
- (If you do not have a spring-form pan, place in shallow pan with 1/2-inch water and bake as directed.)
- Decorate with Cool Whip and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
