Granola

  1. 1. Put oven rack in middle position. Preheat your oven to 350oF. Line a large shallow pan with parchment paper.
  2. 2. Toss together the oats, wheat gem, seeds, nuts and salt in a large bowl.
  3. 3. Whisk together the oil and honey and vanilla. Then stir into the oat mixture until well coated.
  4. 4. Spread mixture in the baking pan and bake, stirring occasionally for 20 to 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove from oven and add dried fruit and mix everything together, then cool completely in pan on a rack.
