LeilaS Delectable Rosemary Pecans
- Herb Mixture-
- 3 T. minced fresh rosemary
- 1-2 minced garlic cloves
- 3 T. light brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cheyenne pepper (less if you're a wimp)
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Other Ingredients-
- 1# raw pecan halves
- 1/2 stick of unsalted butter (4T)
- S&P to taste
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
- In a small bowl, combine herb mixture. In a large bowl toss pecans and melted butter. Add herb mixture to nuts and toss well.
- Place pecans on a cookie sheet. Roast for about 10 minutes tossing a couple times in between. The pecans should be heated throughout and a darker color (be careful not to burn). At the end, sprinkle and toss with lots of salt and a bit of black pepper.
- Serve warm or store in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks.
