Amy Sharpe'S Chocolate Sheet Cake And Icing

  1. Cake preparation:
  2. Preheat oven 400 degrees. Flour and grease pan.
  3. Mix sugar and flour.
  4. Over low heat, melt together butter, water and cocoa.
  5. Mix the melted mixture into the flour/sugar.
  6. Add buttermilk, soda, beaten eggs and vanilla.
  7. Pour into sheet cake pan and back for 20 minutes at 400 degrees.
  8. ICING preparation:
  9. Melt together butter, mild and cocoa. Add powdered sugar, vanilla, nuts.
  10. Pour on the cake HOT from the oven.
