Ultimate Green Ice Tea
- 4 tablespoons Green Tea
- 1/3 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Erythritol
- 2 dash Salt (1 or 2 half turns of a Salt Mill)
- 1/8 teaspoon Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C)
- 1 piece Medium or Large Lemon, or 1.5 small lemon ( cut in a half, both thoroughly squeezed)
- Boil 6 cups of filtered water in a glass kettle.
- Once boiling add in and stir Sugar and Erythritol
- Now that the water has cooled a little, steep and stir 4 Tablespoons of green tea in 2 double secured tea bags for 2.5 min
- Well secured means in addition to pulling the string, you tie a tightening knot at the end of the tea bags
- At the 1.5 min marker, having continuously stirred the tea bags with wooden spoon, begin removing them.
- At 2 min marker, both tea bags should already be removed from glass kettle
- Start Cold Water in the sink, get it nice and cold, put kettle (not corded base) in sink, and fill sink till tea level
- Wait 7 min, empty sink, and repeat for another 10 min.
- Now add salt, ascorbic acid and lemon, mix for 20 sec.
- Refrigerate and serve. No more buying juice.
