Bread Pudding

  1. Put the bread cubes in a large bowl along with raisins and cover with the scalded milk.
  2. Meanwhile, melt the butter; beat the eggs, then add the ingredients to the bowl along with the sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Pour into a suitable baking dish, then put that in a large pan and add enough hot water to reach up the outer sides of the baking dish.
  5. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 45 minutes.
  6. Serve warm with Lemon Sauce.
