Aussie Burger

  1. Prepare grill for direct cooking over med/hot fire.
  2. Combine ketchup, mayo, chile paste for sauce.
  3. Mix beef with 1t salt, 1/2t pepper and form 4 patties (4.5 inch diameter & not too thick).
  4. Toast split rolls on grill.
  5. Pat pineapple dry and lightly brush with 1/2T oil.
  6. Oil rack and cook burgers and
  7. pineapple, turning once, about 4 mins. (fruit should carmelize slightly).
  8. Heat remaining oil in nonstick skillet over med/hi heat, fry eggs.
  9. Spread chile mayo on rolls, assemble from bottom up: pineapple ring, burger, beets, egg, lettuce tomato.
