Easy Cheesey Spinach Casserole
- 1 (16 oz) bag of frozen spinach, thawed
- 3 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded italian cheese
- 1 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 tablespoon salt
- 1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 2. Thaw spinach and squeeze out excess water.
- 3. In a 1 quart microwaveable bowl, combine 1 cup cheddar, 1 cup italian, seasonings, and sour cream. Mix well and microwave 3 minutes or until fully melted. Mix well. Stir into spinach.
- 4. Add 1 cup bread crumbs. Taste spinach mix now to determine if you want to add more spices or not.
- 5. Cover the bottom of a 2 quart casserole dish with 1 cup cheddar. Pour spinach mix over cheddar and spread evenly in the pan. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of bread crumbs on top of spinach and pat down. Cover with remaining 1 cup of cheddar.
- 6. Place in oven and bake 25-30 minutes or until center is set and edges are starting to brown.
