Korean Short Ribs
- 2 lbs. Korean style cut short ribs or flanken short ribs.
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
- 5 cloves fresh garlic minced
- 1 TBL grated fresh ginger
- 2/3 Cup brandy
- 2/3 Cup Asian Sesame Oil
- 3 TBL Crushed Red Pepper
- 3 TBL Fresh Black Pepper
- Combine all the ingredients except the oil in a large bowl and mix well.
- Using a whisk slowly pour in oil while whisking at the same time so that the oil emulsifies with the marinade.
- Dip each rib into the marinade and place into a large zip lock bags or a marinade container. Allow ribs to marinade at least an hour before you plan on cooking them.
- Heat grill or charcoal to medium high. When grill is hot place ribs on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side. Keep an eye on the ribs because they cook fast.
- Take off the grill when they're done and enjoy.
