Bbq Corn Casserole
- 3 Tbsp Butter
- 4 Tsp All Purpose Flower
- 1/8 Tsp Garlic Powder
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 1 4oz Package Cream Cheese
- 10oz Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 2 Cloves of Garlic, Diced
- 1/2 White Onion, Diced
- 2 Tsp Parsley
- 1 Tsp Paprika
- 3oz Ham, Diced
- 4.5oz Can Green Chiles
- 32oz Frozen Whole Kernel Corn, Thawed
- In a large saucepan, melt butter and cook with ham, garlic, and onion.
- Once browned add milk, and stir in flower slowly.
- Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat until thickened.
- Stir in 2/3 of cheddar cheese and all of cream cheese.
- Cook until well blended.
- Turn off heat and stir in thawed corn.
- Stir in green chiles.
- When well blended pour in large casserole dish.
- Add remainder of cheddar cheese on top.
- Sprinkle parsley and paprika over cheese.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes on 350 degrees.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes or until cheese begins to brown.
