Pumpkin Dessert
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 c. evaporated milk
- 1 large can pumpkin pie mix (not pie filling)
- 2/3 c. white sugar
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
- Put aside 1 cup of the cake mix; you'll use later.
- Mix the rest of the cake mix, 1 egg and 1/2 stick butter.
- Pat this mix into a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Mix the pumpkin pie mix, the evaporated milk, 1/3 cup white sugar, the brown sugar, the cinnamon and the 3 eggs.
- Pour this on top of the crust.
- Mix the 1 cup reserved cake mix, 1/3 cup white sugar and the 1/2 stick butter.
- Crumble this over the top of the pumpkin stuff.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for at least 50 to 60 minutes; some ovens take as long as 75 minutes.
- Cut into squares.
- A wonderful change from pumpkin pie for the holidays.
