Bread Machine Foccaccia Bread
- 1c.+ 1 Tbsp. warm water
- 3 c. all purpose or bread flour
- 2 Tbsp. dry milk powder
- 3 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 2 tsp. active dry yeast OR
- 1 1/2 fast rising yeast
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. grated parmesan
- 2 tsp. rosemary leaves
- 1 tsp. garlic salt or powder
- Add water to bread machine pan. Add flour, salt, sugar, yeast and butter cut into 6 pieces. (add yeast last, making well in flour)
- Use knead dough setting on bread machine. Remove to floured board and let rest 15 min. Knead and roll out to fit jelly roll pan. Cover and let rise 30-60 min. Take handle of wooden spoon and make indentations in dough. Brush with olive oil and herbs and cheese. Bake for 15 min. in 400 degree oven.
