Grilled Wasabi/ Portabella Sandwiches
- 2/3 large portabella mushroom caps
- 1T worcestshire
- 2T soy sauce
- 1T balsamic vinegar
- 1T wasabi oil
- 3 green onions,chopped
- 3 cloves garlic,chopped
- 1 red pepper
- pepperjack cheese, shredded
- garlic bread
- Marinate 2/3 large portabella mushrooms in 2T soy sauce, 1T worchestire, 1T balsamic vinegar, 1T wasabi oil, 3 chopped green onions, 3 cloves chopped garlic, 1t black pepper, 1t salt, for 2 hrs min.
- Roast red pepper on stove top.
- Toast garlic bread.
- Grill marinated mushroom caps on grill(or in broiler), top with red pepper and cheese for final minute, serve on toasted garlic bread. A salad on the side accompanies this well for a quick light meal!
