Baked Beans
- 1 - large can of bush boston bake beans.
- 1/4 - can of water from the empty can of bush boston baked bean stired.
- 1 - pound of thick hicory or plain bacon.
- 3 - tablespoons of hormels bacon pieces.
- 1 - 1/2 pound of O.M. Wieners.
- 4 - tablespoons of margerin can use butter if you perfer.
- 1/2 - cup of alger syrup.
- 1 - 1/2 - teaspoon of malassess.
- 1 - cup of light brown sugar.
- 1 - 1/2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
- 1 - teaspoon of hicory smoke flavor.
- Fry bacon until bacon is very crisp - dry, put to the side for later. Cut each O.M.Wiener into about ten pieces each or to your prefrence, and then fry in the in pan or skillet using the fat oil from the bacon cook in the bacon fat until most wieners are dark brown remove and drain with paper towels. at the same time you can put boston baked beans in a pot cast iron pot if you prefer to cook in oven instead of stove top. Add the water from the empty can of beans,then stir well with the beans, turn on low to med fire on the stove top and 350 if using oven style cookingadd light brown sugar, cinnamon, malassess, alger syrup, hicory smoke, hormels bacon pieces and O.M.Wieners stir until mixed really well, last add the mar. or butter and let this just melt on top of beans cover and when really melted good on top stir really good. and cook on med to low for about 20 min. If in oven then cook until this gets really hot about 30 - 40 min.
