Quick Cacciatore
- 1 jar Healthy Choice spaghetti sauce
- 1 can Italian tomatoes (chunks or whole)
- garlic powder
- Italian season
- oregano
- onion powder
- 1/2 green pepper
- 1 can mushrooms (optional)
- Parmesan cheese
- 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
- olive oil
- Mix spaghetti sauce and tomatoes in pot adding spices to taste.
- Cut green pepper; add to sauce.
- Add mushrooms.
- Cook on stove until bubbly then reduce to simmer.
- While sauce is simmering, cook chicken in frypan with only 1 to 2 tablespoons oil.
- Using a nonstick pan is best.
- Cook chicken until done, browning on both sides.
- Add chicken to sauce.
- Spoon sauce over your favorite pasta.
- Place chicken on top.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
