Peanut Butter And Jelly Cookies(Just Like Your Favorite Sandwich)
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 (12 oz.) jar grape or other fruit jelly
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
- Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl with electric mixer beat butter, peanut butter, brown sugar and honey until smooth and creamy.
- Add eggs and vanilla; beat for 1 minute.
- Gradually stir in flour mixture until well combined. Shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls.
- Place on ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
- Using thumb or back of spoon, make 3/4-inch wide indentation in center of each cookie.
- Fill each with about 1 teaspoon jelly.
- Bake 18 to 20 minutes, until golden.
- Remove immediately.
- Cool on wire racks.
- Yummy!
