Pizza With Portobello Mushrooms, Italian Sausage, & Jalapeno Peppers .
- 1pc Portobello mushroom cut in 1/4 thick slices sauteed in a cast iron skillet with olive oil and seasoned with salt and pepper.
- 2pc hot Italian sausage casings removed and sauteed.
- 1pc sweet onion sauteed with olive oil & salt.
- 2pc fresh jalapeno peppers seeded and sliced.
- 1pc fresh or frozen pizza dough.
- 1/4 marinara sauce.
- 1/2 cup pizza double cheese Sargento.
- dust with red pepper flakes.
- heat oven to 425 degrees, cook on pizza stone or 14 3/4 inch dia non-stick pan. brush dough with butter dust outer crust with sea salt, brush with marinara sauce & top with sausage, onions, cheese, mushrooms, & jalapeno peppers. cook for 20 min or till crust is light brown & brush crust with butter and cool for 5 min slice and sprinkle with red pepper flakes
