Apple Pie Cheesecake
- For the crust:
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup sugar
- For the filling:
- 3 8 oz. packages of cream cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons unbleached, all-purpose flour
- 3 whole eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 can apple pie filling
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium bowl, stir together graham cracker crumbs, butter, and sugar.
- Spread the mixture evenly on the bottom of your pan and bake for 10 minutes.
- Let it cool before filling the pan.
- Increase the oven temperature to 450 degrees.
- Whip together cream cheese, vanilla, and almond extract.
- Add sugar, flour, and cinnamon and mix until completely combined.
- Add eggs and mix on medium.
- Slowly add milk while mixing on low.
- Last, stir in apple pie filling.
- Add filling evenly to your pan and bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes.
- Then, lower the temperature to 300 degrees and continue to bake for about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
- Let it cool for about 20 minutes.
- Run a knife around the edge of the pan and release the sides.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before serving.
