Teriyaki Meatballs
- 1 lg egg white, lightly beaten
- 1/4 c minced scallions
- 2 tbl soy sauce
- 2 1/2 grated fresh ginger
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic crushed
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 ground pork or chicken
- 1/2 c teriyaki sauce
- toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- In lg bowl, wisk egg white, scallions, soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, garlic & pepper til blended. Add pork & combine. Shape into 30 (1 1/2" balls)
- Spray lg skillet w/cooking spray & heat over med heat. Add half meatballs & saute 5 min til browned on all sides. Repeat.
- Heat oven to 425 degrees. Place meatballs on parchment lined sheet.
- Brush w/teriyaki sauce.
- Bake 8-10 min. brushing w/remaining sauce, til cooked through & glazed.
- Sprinkle w/sesame seeds.
