Chicken And Rice Soup

  1. 1. Rinse chicken, vegetables, and mushrooms thoroughly
  2. 2. Lightly batter breasts with salt, pepper, and flour
  3. 3. Sear breasts in a saute pan (with some garlic)
  4. 4. Boil breasts for 10 minutes, then set aside
  5. 5. Saute the celery, onions, and carrots in some butter and seasoning (salt, pepper, and garlic)
  6. 6. Cut or shred chicken breasts as preferred
  7. 7. Add chicken in vegetables to a large pan with chicken broth
  8. 8. Add rice to broth
  9. 9. Bring almost to a boil and cook for 10 minutes
  10. 10. Add sliced mushrooms and cook for another couple of minutes
  11. 11. Add a couple of tablespoons of cooking sherry and serve hot.
