Tomato-Basil Pasta Casserole
- One 5.0 oz. Farmhouse(R) Angel Hair Butter & Parmesan Pasta
- One 10 oz. pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 cup prepared spaghetti sauce
- 2 Tablespoons fresh Basil leaves, finely chopped (2 teaspoons dry)
- 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 oz. ham, thinly sliced
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat oven to 425u0b0 F.
- Prepare noodles according to package directions.
- Remove from heat and stir in spaghetti sauce and chopped basil.
- In a medium bowl combine spinach, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, ham, nutmeg and salt and pepper to taste; mix well.
- In a 9" round casserole, spoon in the noodles and sauce and top with spinach mixture. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Cover and bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.
