Quick & Easy Creamy Vegetable Soup

  1. In a large kettle, saute Onion in Butter until tender.
  2. Add Flour, cook and stir until bubbly.
  3. Add Chicken Broth slowly; cook and stir about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in Milk, Cream, Basil, Salt, Pepper, and Garlic Powder.
  5. Cook 5 minutes.
  6. Add cooked Vegetables and cooked Orzo Noodles (if desired).
  7. Heat through.
  8. Yields 8 - 10 servings (about 3 quarts).
