Grandad'S Stew
- 2 lbs t\tstew meat
- 2 tsp t\tcelery seed
- 1 Tbs t\tchili powder
- Pinch + t\tgarlic, minced or garlic salt
- 3 stalks t\tcelery stems, diced
- Handful of small carrots
- 2 lg t\tonions
- 46 oz t\tV-8 juice
- 1 can t\twhole corn
- 1 cup t\telbo mac.
- 2 Tbs t\tsalt
- 2 Tbs t\tblack pepper or red pepper flakes
- 2 lg t\tturnip or as much as you prefer
- 1 can t\tbeer (any brand - Coors prefered)
- Tabasco Sauce
- Crackers
- 1tlace meat in large pot, keeping covered with water. Add salt and garlic. Bring to boil then simmer @ 1 hour.
- 2tn a microwave bowl, place all vegtables, onion with small amount of water. Cook and drain remaining water. Dump everything into pot.
- 3tdd V8 juice and all seasonings. Simmer 15 minutes.
- 4tdd corn and macaroni, simmer remaining 30 minutes. Don't cook too long or macaroni gets too soft.
- 5tdd beer to taste.
