Berrymisu (8 To 10 Servings)

  1. STEP 1 => Jam mixture
  2. Cook frozen berries & 4 Tablespoons sugar (if desired) over medium heat until mixture resembles jam ~ about 15 minute process.
  3. Stir frequently & reduce to 2 cups.
  4. Cool jam mixture before use.
  5. Add raspberry liqueur.
  6. STEP 2 => Ladyfinger prep
  7. Trim 1 end & quick dip ladyfingers in jam mix to coat back & front of bottom half of biscuit.
  8. Rounded end up & sugared side out
  9. Lay a ground base on bottom of serving dish.
  10. Line the remaining biscuits around the circumference of the dish.
  11. Deep trifle dish may require 2-stacked layers.
  12. STEP 3 => Filling**
  13. Slowly mix following together in food mixer - cottage cheese, sour cream, vanilla yogurt & vanilla extract.
  14. Quarter cream cheese blocks & fold into mix - work it to avoid lumps & bubbles
  15. Add in remaining sugar or adjust to personal taste
  16. An equivalent measure of mascarpone can be substituted for this nonfat version of the filling ~ 3 cups or so
  17. STEP 4 => Vertical layering order
  18. Dipped biscuits on bottom
  19. Jam mix
  20. Cheese mix
  21. Sliced fresh strawberries - raspberries - blueberries
  22. oteep dish version - get roughly 3 layers to the top
  23. TOP => adorn with whole fruit
  24. STEP 5 => CHILL
  25. Refrigerate for 8 to 24 hours before serving
