Lasagne

  1. Remove sausage casing and saute in 5 qt dutch oven with ground beef until brown. Remove meats and saute onions, garlic for 5 mins until brown. Return beef/sausage to pan. Add sugar, salt, pepper, basic, fennel, 50% parsely, tomatoes, tomato paste and wine. Bring to boil then reduce and simmer for an hour.
  2. Cook pasta noodles
  3. Mix ricotta, egg and remaining parsley, mixing lighlty.
  4. Oil 9x5x2 pan and over bottom with sauce. layer noodles, ricotta mixture, mozerrela cheese and sauce; then another layer of noodles. Repeat one more time and top with sauce, cheese and parmesain cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 to 90 mins @ 325 depending on pan depth, etc.
