Papa'S Linguine With Clams
- 1/2 cup EVOO
- 6 cloves Garlic
- 1 teaspoon Dried Basil
- 2 teaspoons Oregano
- 3 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
- 1/3 cup Red Wine
- 3/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 can Cento San Marzano Whole Tomatoes
- 1 pound Minced Clams
- 2 teaspoons Tomato Paste
- After steaming clams; shell, quater large little necks; place in a bowl and set aside
- Place tomatoes in a bowl and crush by hand; add all ingredients except oil, garlic, red pepper flakes; half parsley
- Fill large pan 3/4 with water on high heat
- In a large skillet heat garlic and red pepper flakes until arromatic
- Add tomatoes with remaining ingredients and simmer on low to medium heat approx. 20min
- Then add linguine to boiling water; boil for 9 min.
- Add all clams (steamed and minced) to sauce
