Thai Iced Coffee
- For every 1 cup of prepared (strong,
- expresso type) coffee or Thai coffee called
- "Oleng"
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- 1 Tbs sugar or SPLENDA
- 1 Tbs heavy cream or 1 Tbs sweetened
- condensed milk or half-and-half
- 1/4 tsp almond extract
- crushed ice
- Prepare the coffee according to direction
- for your machine or from package. Mix in the
- ground CARDAMON with dry ground coffee in
- the filter. Mix in SUGAR & ALMOND EXTRACT
- according to the amount of cups prepared.
- Chill coffee mixture in fridge for a couple
- of hours or overnight. Fill tall glass with
- 3/4 of CRUSHED ICE. Pour chilled coffee
- mixture over ice & pour HEAVY CREAM on top.
- You can also add the cream to coffee mixture
- before its chilled. Add a funky straw &
- ENJOY!!
- Note: Thai or Asian tea can be substitued
- for coffee.
