Angel Hair With Garlic Tomato Sauce
- 1 package of whole wheat angel hair
- 6 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 can (19 oz.) of italian stewed tomatoes (such as Aylmer's)
- 1 - can of chicken broth (such as Campbell)
- 1 teaspoon dried fines herbes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Freshly grated parmesan to taste
- Cook pasta according to manufacturer's instructions for al dente.
- Meanwhile, heat oil over medium heat and cook garlic until golden.
- Add all remaining ingredients, increase heat to medium-high and cook for 20 minutes, until reduced by approximately one third, stirring occasionally. At this point the sauce should be thick.
- Drain angel hair and mix in the sauce. Serve with fresh parmesan.
