Good And Easy Pound Cake

  1. Beat egg whites until stiff and set aside.
  2. With mixer cream sugar and butter.
  3. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating after each.
  4. Sift flour with baking powder and salt (don't omit this step).
  5. Add flour and yogurt (with lemon juice) alternately to sugar-butter mixture.
  6. Add flavorings.
  7. Fold egg whites into batter very gently.
  8. Pour into greased and floured Bundt cake pan and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours until toothpick comes out clean. Let cool and invert onto cake plate.
  9. You may glaze, but I do not.
