Mystical Chocolate Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Melt the butter with the unsweetened baking chocolate squares using a double boiler.
  3. When melted, pour into a mixing bowl, and add the granulated sugar and the brown sugar.
  4. Mix well; add the eggs and vanilla or Kahlua.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, salt, and chocolate chips.
  6. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, and mix well.
  7. Pour batter into an ungreased 9 x 12 baking pan (I use a Pyrex pan).
  8. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool in pan, and cut into bars.
  10. Enjoy!
