Easy Chicken And Rice Casserole
- 4 cups of prepared rice
- 2 cups turkey or chicken (picked from bone)
- 1 can Campbell mushroom soup
- 1 medium carrot grated
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh peas
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon creole or Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1Tablespoon chicken seasoning or 1 cube chicken bouillon
- 1/2 cup milk
- Grated cheese for top
- Prepare rice.
- In a medium bowl mix all the other ingredients together, except the cheese for the top of the casserole. Toss in rice until it is well coated
- Grease a casserole pan (fits into a 9x9). Pat rice mixture into prepared pan. Cover with cheese. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes
