Beef Stroganoff

  1. Saute the onions and mushrooms in the oil and butter till soft.
  2. Put aside and keep warm in the stove on a low temperature.
  3. Saute the beef season with salt and plenty of fresh ground black pepper, saute for 2-5 mins both sides accodding to taste. Take the pan off the heat, pour the brandy over the beef and ignite
  4. let the flames die dowm and add the sherry. When the flames have gone return to a gentle heat and simmer for a few minutes till the liquid has halved. Add the onions and mushrooms back to the pan and add the sour cream. Let it all heat through and serve.
