Green Bean Almondine

  1. 1) Heat oil in pan, & saute garlic, & ginger for 2 mins. Add onion & saute until onion is softened.
  2. 2) Add mushrooms & almonds. Saute until mushrooms are cooked through.
  3. 3) move to side for later use.
  4. 4) Add 1/2 cu. water to same pan, & steam green beans, covered, till crisp-tender. Move to side with 1st ingredients.
  5. 5) Whisk flour into pan, scraping up bits. (Add a little more water if nessesary) Stir in lemon juice.
  6. 6) Return sauted veggies to pan, adding salt, pepper, basil, & rosemary.
  7. 7) Cook till mixture is thicked & bubbly.
