Chocolate Pie

  1. Prepare baked pie shell.
  2. In a small mixer bowl, blend 1 cup confedct. sugar and the butter on low speed until fluffy.
  3. Blend in chocolate and vanilla.
  4. On high speed beat in one egg at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  5. Pour into pie shell; cover with plastic wrap. Freeze several hours or until firm. For easier cutting, remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving; remove plastic wrap.
  6. In chilled bowl, beat cream and 2 tablespoons confect. sugar until stiff; pile onto pie. If you wish, garnish with chocolate curls.
