Beef Biryani
- 2 pounds beef cubed
- 2 cups plain yogurt
- 2 tsp minced fresh ginger
- 2 tsp minced fresh garlic
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 sticks cinnamon
- 6 cloves
- 6 cardamon pods
- 2 tsp fresh green chilis
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1 tsp cumin
- salt and pepper
- 2 onions sliced
- 2 tomatoes diced
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh coriander
- Marinate the beef with the first 11 ingredients. overnight. Cook in pressure cooker for 30 minutes. Fry onions in oil until crisp. Add tomatoes, lemon, garam masala, coriander and fried onions. Low heat 5 minutes. Remove spices.
