Crunchy Sausage Casserole

  1. Cook rice according to package directions; set aside.
  2. Brown sausage and ground beef in skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain. Combine rice and meat mixture; add all other ingredients except almonds, and mix thoroughly.
  3. Spoon into ungreased 2 or 3 quart casserole; sprinkle with almonds.
  4. Bake at 325u0b0 for 50 minutes. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
