Coconut-Cream Cheese Pound Cake

  1. Preheat oven to
  2. 325u0b0.trease and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Cream
  3. thetutter, shortening and cream cheese together in large bowl.
  4. Gradually
  5. add sugar, beating at medium speed, until light and fluffy.
  6. Stir in coconut flavoring and vanilla extract.
  7. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Combine flour,
  8. salt
  9. and
  10. baking powder and add to the butter. Stir
  11. just until blended.
  12. Fold in coconut.
  13. Pour the batter into prepared
  14. tube
  15. pan.
  16. Baketor an hour and 15 minutes or until tester
  17. comes
  18. outtlean.temovetake and allow to cool.
