Lemon Glazed Wheat Germ Balls

  1. Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until well blended. Beat in molasses.
  2. Mix together flour, wheat germ, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt.
  3. Stir into first mixture and add raisins and/or walnuts.
  4. Spread in greased 8 or 9-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until pick inserted near center comes out clean.
  6. Put pan on wire rack and spread with following Lemon Glaze while still hot.
  7. Cool completely and cut into squares.
  8. Store in an airtight container.
