Mexican Casserole

  1. Fry beef; drain off fat.
  2. Add onion, garlic, tomato sauce and olives to beef.
  3. Combine in bowl the sour cream, cottage cheese and green chilies. Crush tortilla chips slightly, reserving a few whole ones for garnish.
  4. Place 1/4 chips in bottom of well buttered or sprayed 2 1/2-quart casserole.
  5. Add 1/4 meat mixture; cover with 1/4 sour cream mixture.
  6. Sprinkle with cheese.
  7. Repeat layers.
  8. Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or cook in microwave for approximately 7 minutes.
  9. Turn and cook 7 minutes more.
