Italian Minestrone With Tortellini

  1. In a 5-quart Dutch oven, brown sausage and drain.
  2. Add onion and saute until tender.
  3. Add beef broth, red wine, tomatoes, carrots, celery, ketchup, Italian seasoning and garlic.
  4. Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
  5. Add zucchini, tortellini, green pepper and parsley.
  6. Simmer, covered, until tortellini are tender, 10 to 15 minutes.
  7. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
