Fruit Crisp

  1. In a small mixing bowl, combine sugar and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon. Place the apples or other fruit in a
  2. 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Sprinkle sugar-cinnamon mixture over fruit.
  4. Toss gently to coat.
  5. Cover; bake in a 375 degrees oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, stir together the oats, flour, brown sugar, margarine, and 1/4 tsp. cinnamon.
  7. Sprinkle over partially cooked fruit mixture.
  8. Return to the oven and bake, uncovered, for 15 to 20 minutes more or until fruit is tender.
  9. Serve warm with ice milk.
  10. Makes 4 servings.
