Baked Fish

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. In medium skillet, saute onion and garlic in olive oil until soft.
  3. Mix in cornstarch.
  4. Add tomatoes and their juice; mix until well blended.
  5. Cook over medium-high heat until sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in olives and chili pepper. Spoon half the sauce into a baking pan large enough to hold the fillets in one layer.
  7. Place fish over sauce; sprinkle with lemon juice (salt optional).
  8. Cover with remaining sauce; bake for 10 minutes, or until fillets flake easily.
  9. Serves 6.
